Rev. Robert Schuman
Board President
Bob is the lead pastor at Warrington Fellowship Church. He has been a pastor there 30 years. He teaches youth ministry courses at Cairn University and was a youth pastor for 21 years. Bob looks forward to seeing how God uses Next Wave to enable kids from foster care to successfully transition into adulthood and positively impact their community.
Elisabeth Wachter, J.D, Esquire
Board Secretary
Elisabeth is a public interest attorney with nearly 15 years of experience in child welfare law in the Orphans’ Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and Virginia. She is an active member of and former youth staff at New Covenant Community Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Elisabeth Natter
Board Treasurer
Elisabeth (Betsy) has worked in Mission Advancement for non profits and communications for over 30 years. She is also a member of Hope Community Church in Gilbertsville, where she has served in children, youth and women’s ministries.
Scott Natter
Board Member
Scott is an IT professional at Avery Dennison. He is also a member of Hope Community Church in Gilbertsville, where he has served in children, youth and music ministries.
Megan Force, M.S./LCSW in progress
Board Member
Megan is the Supervisor of Case Management and Family Services at The IMPACT Project, Inc. Foster Care and Diversion Agency in Emmaus. Pa. Megan comes with experience in the Mental/Behavioral Health and Social Work field for more than 20 years, including being a verified Addictions and Compulsive Behavior Counselor. She is an active member of Orchard Hills Church in Breinigsville, PA.
Kristi Szabo, M.Ed.
Founder and Executive Director
Kristi is a former German teacher at Parkland High School. She has a heart for young women aging out of foster care and left her teaching career when God called her to care for these vulnerable girls. She and her husband are licensed foster parents who have fostered girls preparing to age out of care. She attends Morning Star Fellowship Church in Quakertown, where she has been active in children's ministry for over 20 years.
